This course trains individuals to be able to provide necessary First Aid in the workplace and to be able to deal with emergencies and implement essential life saving skills.

Head Injuries, Crush & Spinal Injuries
Respiration, Asphyxia, Choking, Burns
Circulation, Bleeding, Wounds & Shock
Fractures, Sprains, Strains & Dislocations
Heart Conditions, Unconsciousness, C.P.R.
Poisons, Chemical Injuries & Electric Shock
Medical Conditions – Diabetes, Epilepsy, Asthma

Training Resources
The course is highly interactive with each theory session being followed by demonstration, practical tasks and assessment of individual skill. Relevant handouts given.
Course Evaluation and Certification
Upon successful completion of the course participants are certified as Occupational First Aiders in accordance with current Health & Safety Legislation. Certificate is valid for 3 years. This course is examinable by an external Examiner registered with the NATB.
Venue and Duration
Training can be carried out on site at suitable workplace location or off site. Training is normally delivered over 3 day period.
Number of Delegates
Maximum 12 individuals per group.
