TRAINING - Forklift Truck

Novice Forklift Operator Training

This 5 day basic skills course is designed to train operators who have had no previous experience as Forklift Truck Operators. The course syllabus meets the requirements of the code of practice for rider operated lift trucks and is delivered by highly experienced RTITB registered tutors.

Experienced Forklift Operator Training

This 2 day Experienced Forklift Driver course trains individuals who do not hold a valid certificate who are experienced in operating a forklift truck in the working environment. On completion of this programme each participant is expected to achieve the required standard of knowledge and skill before being awarded a certificate of competence valid for a period of 3 years.

Refresher Forklift Training

This 1 day Refresher Forklift Training course is intended for individuals who have had formal training and who have been awarded a certificate within 5 years of competence from a recognised awarding body. This course consists of practical and theory training with examination. Each participant is expected to achieve the required standard of knowledge and skill before being awarded a certificate of competence valid for a period of 3 years.

Course Evaluation & Certification

All participants undergo a Theory written and practical driving examination and on successful competition receives a valid Forklift Operator Certificate for a period of 3 years, courses are tailored for Counter Balance lift trucks but training is also available for Reach trucks , Bendi trucks , narrow aisle , order pickers , and power pallet trucks on request.
