Training - Personal Protection Equipment

protection photo Wherever workers are required to employ the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to protect against occupational, health and safety hazards which are unavoidable, safety training must be given. This course aims to provide managers and employees with the necessary knowledge and familiarisation with safety Legislation and use of PPE. The training is designed to be site specific so that employees get to practice with the PPE that they are familiar with in their own workplace.

Maintenance and replacement

Accident investigation

Training Resources

Classroom tuition. Audio-visual presentation equipment (overhead projector, flip chart or white board, video). Practical demonstration. Case studies. Relevant handouts given.

Course Evaluation & Certification

Individuals are required to complete a written assessment and are awarded a certificate on completion.

Venue & Duration

Training is normally conducted at the employer's premises. Training duration is dependant on the variety of PPE used in the workplace.
