Workplace Hazards

Legislation requires that hazardous chemicals in workplaces be clearly identifiable and that information on the hazards and controls are available to employees who handle, manufacture or store chemical agents.

Exposure to hazardous workplace chemicals, physical and biological agents can cause potential health effects thus requiring employers to provide information and training to employees on safe working practices and appropriate use of exposure controls.
