Trainer's Profile

Gordon Richardson, BSc, Dip (Biotech.), Dip (S.H.W.W.), CMIOSH, RSP

Gordon Richardson graduated from The National University Of Ireland, Galway in 1990 with a Bachelor Of Science Degree in (Microbiology, Biochemistry). He also holds a Diploma in Biotechnology from Waterford Institute Of Technology and a Diploma in Safety Health And Welfare At Work from University College Dublin. He also holds a Certificate in Managing Safety In Construction approved by IOSH and the Construction Industry Federation (CIF). He is also a Chartered Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (CMIOSH) and is a Registered Safety Practitioner (RSP). Gordon is a FÁS registered approved trainer.

Gordon has over 20 years experience working in the Food, Drinks, Catering and Pharmaceutical Industries working in Environment Health & Safety, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Research & Development, Validation and Production Environments in major companies in Australia, UK and Ireland. He is also a Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), Irelands leading body for Safety Professionals, where he holds the position of Secretary on the South Eastern District Committee and also is an Executive on the IOSH Ireland Branch Committee .
